AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF GEORGE COUNTY TO PURCHASE LAND FROM THE INTERNATIONAL PAPER COMPANY TO BE USED AS A SPORTS COMPLEX; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of George County, from any available funds, may purchase for a sum not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) a forty-acre tract of land from the International Paper Company. The land will be used by the citizens of George County as a sports complex.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and shall be in force from and after its passage.
